The Sisters of The Lady of the Desert Monastery live on 40 acres of remote, sometimes harsh high plains desert. There have been many challenges met by hard work and donations from many local residents and groups. They are at the end of a very rural electric coop and frequently have no electricity, their primary source of energy for heating, cooking and operating their water well.

The Knight of Columbus San Juan Council 3448 tries to help the Monastery with food and supplies as needed including some assistance for building repairs. To support the Sisters, Council 3448 has decided to team with them for this fundraising event.

The Lady of the Desert Monastery and San Juan Council 3448 50/50 Raffle tickets are $25 each. The drawing will be held on January 31, 2026. Tickets can be purchased on-line at www.sjkoc.org
